Profile
Approved by Ministry of Civic Affairs of the People's Republic of China, China Precious Metals Industry Committee of CRRA (CPMIC) was founded in April 2006. The competent authority shall be the State-owned Assets Management Commission of the State Council. CPMIC is a national social organization and is located at Beijing.
Members of CPMIC
Members come from enterprises engaged in precious metals applications in China, precious metals waste recycling, disposal, refining enterprises, precious metals trading enterprises, precious metals financial enterprises, research institutions, etc. Member enterprises contribute 85% of the market share for the recycling and refining of platinum group metals in China, 70% of the market share for the procurement and application of platinum group metals, and 60% of the market share for the trading of platinum group metals.
Purpose of CPMIC
Unite all parties, strengthen connections with relevant international organizations, adhere to the guiding ideology of using the association as a platform, with member units as the core, and taking industry development as our responsibility, fully leverage the initiative of the association, and create a fair, transparent, and efficient industry organization led by enterprises.
International Exchanges
CPMIC has established comprehensive cooperative relationships with major global precious metals industry organizations, including IPMI, LBMA and LPPM; CPMIC also has close ties with major global precious metals consulting institutions, such as SFA (Oxford) and Metal Focus; CPMIC led leading Chinese precious metals enterprises to visit companies in the UK, Germany, the USA, and Russia, such as BASF, HERAEUS, Johnson Matthey (JM), Anglo American (ANGLO), Umicore and Nornickel; at the request of overseas enterprises, CPMIC also organizes them to visit major precious metals enterprises in China to establish and consolidate their cooperation.
The China Precious Metals Industry Development Forum
The Annual China Precious Metals Industry Development Forum, organized by CPMIC, is the most influential precious metals conference in China. There are over 500 attendees from the fields of precious metals recycling, refining, trade, market research, and application at home and abroad. Every year, the forum expounds on the latest precious metals information on the supply and demand, market prices, development trends, industry policies and standards, new technologies and new equipment.
