To implement the "14th Five-Year Plan" for Green Development of Industry and the Implementation Plan for Carbon Peak in the Industrial Sector, continuously improve the green manufacturing system, promote the green development of industry, and contribute to carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the industrial sector, the 2022 Green Manufacturing List recommendation work is now being organized.

The National Development and Reform Commission recently revised and released the new version of the "Guidance Catalog for Industrial Structure Adjustment (2024 Edition)", which will officially take effect on February 1, 2024. The "Catalog" consists of three categories: encouraged, restricted, and eliminated. Any items that fall outside these three categories but comply with relevant national laws, regulations, and policies are classified as allowed and are not included in the "Catalog".

2024 Precious Metals Tariff Adjustment Plan
In order to fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development concept, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and better fulfill the important functions of tariffs in coordinating domestic and international markets and resources, the Tariff Commission of the State Council has issued a notice on the "Tariff Adjustment Plan for 2024" in accordance with the "Regulations on Import and Export Tariffs of the People's Republic of China" and relevant provisions. Starting from January 1, 2024, adjustments will be made to the import and export tariffs of certain goods.
