Metalor Precious Metals (Suzhou) New Plant Officially Goes into Production

On July 9, the new plant of Metalor Precious Metals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Poly Arts & Crafts and Switzerland’s Metalor Technologies Group, officially commenced operations in Suzhou Industrial Park. The ceremony was attended by representatives from Poly Arts & Crafts, the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park, LBMA, and the China Precious Metals Industry Committee (CPMIC).
On July 9, the inauguration and commissioning ceremony for the new plant of Metalor Precious Metals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was grandly held in Suzhou Industrial Park. Representatives from a host of authoritative industry institutions gathered to witness this milestone in the company’s development. Attendees included Dai Ning, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Poly Arts & Crafts; Zheng Feng, Deputy General Manager of Poly Arts & Crafts; Shang Yuxing, Vice President of Metalor Technologies Group; representatives from the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park; Ruth, President of LBMA; and Bian Jiang, person-in-charge of the China Precious Metals Industry Committee (CPMIC).

Founded in November 2020, Metalor Precious Metals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Poly Arts & Crafts and Switzerland’s Metalor Technologies Group. It specializes in refined deep processing of precious metals, R&D and production of high-purity precious metal materials, and full-chain supporting services. The newly built production lines feature fully upgraded precious metal refining processes, substantially boosting technical capabilities in high-purity materials, special alloys, target manufacturing, catalyst R&D and other fields. The facility precisely caters to core material demands of strategic emerging industries such as semiconductors, new energy and environmental catalysis.
Backed by central enterprise resources from China National Arts & Crafts Group and world-leading technologies from Switzerland’s Metalor Technologies Group, the new plant has achieved comprehensive upgrades in production capacity expansion, process iteration and smart manufacturing. It serves as a high-quality platform for technological exchange and collaborative innovation between Chinese and foreign precious metal industries.
The company is currently the sole foreign-brand standard gold bar supplier on the Shanghai Gold Exchange. It also holds a full suite of core accreditations, including LBMA-accredited refiner for delivery, LPPM platinum delivery refiner, compliant refiner under Hong Kong’s Central Gold Clearing System, and platinum delivery refiner of the Guangzhou Futures Exchange. As a member enterprise of the Precious Metals Committee of China Materials Recycling Association (CPMIC), Metalor Precious Metals has long committed itself to green recycling and high-value utilization of precious metals. Drawing on extensive experience in technological research and international operation, it continuously fuels high-quality development of the industry.

Bian Jiang, person-in-charge of CPMIC, delivered a speech at the ceremony to extend warm congratulations on the launch of Metalor’s new plant. He remarked that the commissioning of the new plant marks a vital milestone for Metalor Precious Metals’ deep-rooted presence in China’s market, and injects fresh momentum into the green circular development and independent controllability of high-end materials within China’s precious metals sector.
CPMIC will continue to act as a bridge linking the industry and authorities, delivering robust support for enterprises in policy coordination, standard formulation and resource alignment. It will jointly advance precious metal refining and recycling, new material R&D and the development of industrial standard systems, working together to build a more resilient and competitive industrial ecosystem.
