Notice of the 20th CPMIC Precious Metals Industry Development Forum
Release time:
26 Aug,2026

To All Relevant Entities in the Precious Metals Industry Chain,
The 20th CPMIC Precious Metals Industry Development Forum will be held on November 5–6, 2026, in Shanghai. Since its first event in 2006, the Forum has been successfully staged on nineteen occasions, bringing together peers from across the full industry chain—both domestic and international—covering recovery and refining, materials application, market trading, futures and finance, equipment, and testing services. With participation having grown from fewer than 50 to 600 attendees, the Forum has both borne witness to and helped drive the profound transformation of China's precious metals industry from a model dominated by raw-material trading toward one that equally prioritizes high-end materials innovation and green circular utilization.
Upholding compliant operation is the bottom line, and steady quality enhancement is the direction. CPMIC will continue to advance the development of a traceability system for recycled precious metals feedstock, rectify reverse-invoicing practices toward full compliance while preventing tax-related risks, deepen green product manufacturing standards, and facilitate the rollout of digital and intelligent green factories. We will guide enterprises in leveraging technological innovation to secure policy and financial support, thereby helping the industry build a development landscape that is safe, low-carbon, and high-value-added.
As we mark the twentieth anniversary—a moment to build on past achievements and look to the future—we cordially invite industry colleagues to convene in Shanghai this November. Through the Forum as our medium, we will review market cycles to discern the trends ahead and engage in dialogue on practical matters to translate insight into action. By pooling our collective strength and resolve, we will together lay an enduring foundation for the steady and long-term growth of China's precious metals industry.
