Meeting with the chairman of the International Precious Metals Institute

On October 22, Mr. Bian Jiang, Vice President of the Association, held talks in Shanghai with Mr. Robert, the newly elected President of the International Precious Metals Institute, along with Mr. Xu Zhun, Vice General Manager of Zili Environmental Protection, a vice president unit of the Association. Mr. Robert also serves as the General Manager of Chemicals and Refining for North America and Asia at Johnson Matthey. He was accompanied by Ms. Zhou Yan, General Manager of Precious Metals Refining and Chemicals for Asia Pacific at Johnson Matthey, and Mr. Ryo Onuma, General Manager of Precious Metals Processing Products for Japan and Korea at Johnson Matthey.

President Robert introduced the development history, membership composition, main functions, and annual meeting format of the International Precious Metals Institute. He believes that China is one of the most important regions in the global precious metals industry and hopes to establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with our association to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises. Vice President Bian Jiang expressed his agreement with President Robert's suggestions and made specific plans for cooperation between the two sides, including monthly communication exchanges, irregular high-level meetings, and mutual visits between enterprises.
