Notice on Public Solicitation of Opinions on the Draft Amendment of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste"
To further advance the work of preventing and controlling environmental pollution caused by solid waste in our country and effectively prevent environmental risks from solid waste pollution, based on the National People's Congress' legislative work plan and after careful investigation and research, the "Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China (Draft Amendment) (Solicitation of Opinions)" has been drafted.
In order to fully understand the opinions of all parties and further improve the revision work, opinions are now publicly solicited on the "Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law (Draft Amendment) (Solicitation of Opinions)" (Attachment 1). All government agencies, organizations, enterprises, institutions, and individuals may refer to the format of opinions and suggestions (see Attachment 3) to submit their opinions and suggestions. The deadline for soliciting opinions is August 18, 2018.
