Beijing Environmental Exchange launches vehicle replacement O2O platform

According to the introduction, on the "old car replacement service platform", car owners can choose to scrap, auction used cars, or exchange vehicles. Through the platform, car owners can immediately obtain competitive repurchase bids from multiple parties, enjoy 4S store discounts and direct subsidies from car manufacturers. Car owners only need to pay the price difference for the "trade-in" of their vehicles to complete the replacement service, and the platform will handle the remaining procedures.
Beijing's Environmental Exchange's vehicle replacement O2O platform, "Old Vehicle Replacement Service Platform," officially launched on July 7th, utilizing market mechanisms to accelerate the scrapping of old motor vehicles and promote emission reduction from motor vehicles.
Beijing's Environmental Exchange is a third-party trading platform authorized by the Beijing municipal government for the scrapping and updating of old vehicles. It distributes government subsidies for scrapping old vehicles and manufacturer incentives for purchasing new vehicles to car owners. The platform has reportedly distributed government subsidies to over 800,000 owners of old vehicles, cooperating with over 40 automakers and over 400 dealers to sell new vehicles. Over 1,000 vehicle models are available, with over 200,000 new vehicles sold through the platform, optimizing Beijing's existing motor vehicle stock and achieving emission reductions.
The newly launched "Old Vehicle Replacement Service Platform" will provide a one-stop service for car owners needing replacements, including old vehicle scrapping, auctions, vehicle replacement, and subsidy applications. It directly connects car owners with 4S stores and auto manufacturers, establishing a comprehensive service system covering the entire lifecycle of car ownership, from selling to buying and replacing vehicles.
Car owners who replace their vehicles through the platform can receive discounted prices from 4S stores and additional purchase incentives from auto manufacturers, maximizing the value of each stage of the vehicle replacement process and reducing the cost for car owners.
