The 11th China International Forum on Rare and Precious Metal Recycling is about to open

Relevant Units:

The highly anticipated "11th China Precious Metal Recycling International Forum" will be held in Haikou from November 5th to 7th, 2017.

One year after the implementation of the new hazardous waste catalog, the recycling industry of various invalid and waste catalysts has undergone significant changes, significantly impacting enterprises involved in the recycling of precious metals. New regulations have been introduced regarding hazardous waste identification, solid waste identification, and environmental impact assessments. These factors are driving enterprises in this industry towards larger scale, standardization, efficiency, environmental protection, and healthy development. This conference will provide authoritative analysis of the new environmental policies; explain the drafting of standards for the recovery and refining of spent petrochemical catalysts and waste three-way catalysts; conduct in-depth discussions on issues such as the shortage of operating capital for some enterprises and the tightening of financial and tax policies in some provinces; release the current status of the precious metal recycling industry; and recommend new technologies for the processing and refining of precious metals.

Key topics of this conference include:

Ø Global and Chinese platinum, palladium and other precious metal applications, trade, and price trends;

Ø Changes in precious metal recovery, utilization, and corporate structure under new environmental policies, and the current state of the industry;

Ø The impact of environmental and tax policies on the precious metal recycling industry;

Ø Standards for the recovery and utilization of spent petrochemical catalysts will serve as industry standards;

Ø Technical specifications for the recovery and utilization of spent three-way catalysts;

Ø Discussion on protecting the healthy development of precious metal trade;

Ø Discussion on the feasibility of establishing a large-scale precious metal science, industry, trade, and joint-stock company with the participation of both state-owned and private enterprises to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese precious metal enterprises;

Ø Visit to the China Petrochemical Hainan Refinery;

Ø Discussions on the recovery and processing of various catalysts, anode sludge, etc., precious metal product trade, and the promotion of new technologies and equipment.

     The China Precious Metal Recycling International Forum has been successfully held for ten sessions. It is the highest-end conference in China's precious metal industry, with the participation of more than 20 countries and regions and more than 500 enterprises and institutions. Many enterprises choose to release important information to the world for the first time at the conference. Globally renowned catalyst production and application enterprises: China Petrochemical Catalyst Company, Sinopec Precious Metals Company, and Sinopec Hainan Refinery jointly assisted in organizing the 11th conference. This conference will feature a comprehensive analysis of the precious metal recycling industry by well-known domestic and foreign enterprises and research institutions involved in the recovery, processing, utilization, and trade of precious metals, and in-depth interpretation of industry policies by relevant government leaders.
