Notice Regarding the Organization of Precious Metals Enterprises' Visit to the United States

China's precious metal industry started late, and its technology, management, and overall strength lag far behind established international precious metal companies. To develop China's precious metal industry, integrate with the international community, enhance international exchanges, and strengthen international cooperation, the Precious Metal Recycling Special Committee of the China物资再生协会 (China Association of Recycling Resources) and the International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI) will cooperate to organize a visit to the United States in mid-September. The visit, led by the Chinese Precious Metal Recycling Special Committee, will allow domestic precious metal companies to exchange ideas with US precious metal recycling companies and experts. Precious metal-related companies and relevant units are cordially invited to participate.

Notice on Organizing Precious Metals Enterprises to Visit the United States
To all members and relevant units,
China's precious metals industry started relatively late, and its technology, management, and overall strength are far behind those of established international precious metals companies. To develop China's precious metals industry, integrate with the international community, enhance international exchanges, and strengthen international cooperation, the Precious Metals Recycling Professional Committee of the China National Materials Recycling Association (CPMRC) will cooperate with the International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI) to organize a visit to the United States in mid-September. Domestic precious metals companies will be led to visit and exchange with companies and experts in the US precious metals recycling industry. Precious metals related companies and relevant units are invited to actively participate.
This activity is the first time that the Chinese precious metals industry has gone abroad as a team, and it will receive much attention from international institutions and enterprises.
I. Scope of the visit: 4 out of 10 companies including BASF, Johnson Matthey, Tekmar, Stillwater, Heraeus, and SABIC (based on regional distribution in the US to reduce travel time)
II. Visit Time: Mid-September 2016, a 12-day trip
III. Composition of the Inspection Team: Representatives from the association and precious metals-related companies (considering organization and smooth reception, the number of participants is limited to 10 people for this visit)
IV. Composition of Inspection Costs:
1. Registration fee: RMB 5000/person (used for processing invitations and various preparations)
2. Inspection fee: This inspection is a business group with a specially customized itinerary. Members: RMB 39000 (including registration fee)/person; Non-members: RMB 42000 (including registration fee)/person (including round-trip international air tickets, overseas food and accommodation and transportation, overseas insurance, visa, translation, miscellaneous expenses, and official activities. After obtaining a visa, if participants are unable to visit due to their own reasons, the visa fee, air ticket cancellation fee, registration fee, and other related expenses will be deducted). The inspection fee will be paid after receiving the invitation from the United States. If the visa is not approved, the visa fee and taxes will be deducted (estimated within RMB 5000), and the remaining fee will be refunded.
V. Registration Method: Participants need to fill out the US visit registration form (see attachment) and send it to the secretariat before June 21. After passing the initial review, pay a registration fee of RMB 5000, and the staff will guide you through the necessary visa procedures.
