New Trends in the Development of the Recycling Industry under the New Normal

According to the "China Recycled Resources Recovery Industry Development Report" compiled by the China Resource Recycling Association on behalf of the Ministry of Commerce, despite the severe challenges facing the recycled resources recovery and utilization industry, a number of recycled resources recovery and utilization enterprises with advanced ideas have continuously emerged with innovative business models, further optimizing the industrial structure and injecting new vitality into the recycled resources industry.
According to the "China Recycled Resources Recycling Industry Development Report" compiled by the China National Resources Recycling Association on behalf of the Ministry of Commerce, despite the severe challenges facing the recycled resources recycling and utilization industry, a number of recycled resources recycling and utilization enterprises with advanced ideas have continuously emerged with innovative business models, further optimizing the industrial structure and injecting new vitality into the recycled resources industry.
1. Innovative Models Continue to Emerge
With the rapid development of the recycled resources recycling industry, relevant enterprises have focused on innovating recycling models in recent years to improve recycling levels. Hangzhou Furen Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. has achieved a win-win innovative recycling model among recycling personnel, the train station, and the utilizing enterprise by cooperating with the train station to recycle composite paper packaging waste from discarded materials; Shenzhen Tyler Waste Battery Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. cooperates with notebook computer and mobile phone manufacturers to implement a waste battery recycling certification scheme model through courier pick-up; Shanghai Yanlongji Recycled Resources Utilization Co., Ltd.'s three-level recycling network for waste glass; Wuhan Greenmei Resource Recycling Co., Ltd.'s multi-channel recycling model for waste batteries combining recycling bins and recycling supermarkets; Shanghai Senlan Environmental Resources Co., Ltd.'s "5H" recycling model for waste electrical and electronic products; Beijing Yingchuang Recycled Resources Recycling Co., Ltd. combines Internet of Things technology with the recycled resources recycling system, creating China's first example of combining Internet of Things technology with the recycled resources recycling system through its self-developed intelligent beverage bottle recycling machine.

Shenzhen Greenmei High-tech Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in electronic waste disposal, as well as Shougang Environmental Holdings Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., have formed a total of 6 listed companies related to the electronic waste disposal industry through capital integration. China Gezhouba Group Green Garden Technology Co., Ltd. and Dalian Huanjia Group Chairman Wang Jinping signed a cooperation agreement to jointly invest in the establishment of Gezhouba Huanjia Recycled Resources Co., Ltd. Currently, listed recycled resources companies in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong mainly include Greenmei, Sander Environment, Dongjiang Environmental Protection, Huahong Technology, Shanying Paper, and Gezhouba, totaling 16 companies.
