Yun Copper Co., Ltd. again enjoys the tax preferential policies in the western region

Recently, the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued a confirmation letter in the form of document "Yunnan Development and Reform Commission Western [2015] No. 121", confirming that Yunnan Copper Co., Ltd. will once again enjoy the tax preferential policies for the western region.


  Since the application for tax preferential policies for enterprises in the encouraged industries in the western region was launched in July 2013, the R&D center of Yunnan Copper Metallurgical Research Institute has actively contacted relevant government departments, coordinated with the company's finance department, the general factory's production technology department, and the safety and environmental protection department, studied policy documents, and finally confirmed that the company's main business and products meet three entries in the "Catalogue of Encouraged Industries in the Western Region". The R&D center of the Metallurgical Research Institute organized the preparation and timely submission of the application report, which passed the expert review and final review of the High-tech Zone Economic Development Bureau, Kunming Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission.


  It is understood that in order to implement the spirit of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on deepening the implementation of the Western Development Strategy and further support the Western Development, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Taxation Administration jointly issued the "Notice of the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Taxation Administration on Tax Policy Issues Related to Deepening the Implementation of the Western Development Strategy" (Cai Shui [2011] No. 58), clarifying relevant tax policy issues: reducing taxes for encouraged industries in the western region, levying enterprise income tax at a rate of 15%, and enjoying the policy for a valid period of ten years.
