On February 20, 2025, Ms. Guo Miaomiao, Vice President of GEM Central Research Institute, and Mr. Du Ke, Director of the Innovation Drive Office, conducted a working visit to the China Precious Metals Industry Committee (CPMIC) of the China Resource Recycling Association (CRRA).

 

On February 20, 2025, Ms. Guo Miaomiao, Vice President of GEM Central Research Institute, and Mr. Du Ke, Director of the Innovation Drive Office, conducted a working visit to the China Precious Metals Industry Committee (CPMIC) of the China Resource Recycling Association (CRRA). During the meeting, both sides engaged in substantive discussions addressing strategic priorities including supply chain optimization in precious metals, R&D-driven product innovation, and emerging market trends. GEM representatives detailed the company’s technological advancements in metal recovery systems and processing methodologies, with Ms. Guo underscoring the Central Research Institute’s focus on leveraging innovation to enhance circular economy practices and develop next-generation recycling applications.

Speaking on behalf of CPMIC, Bian Jiang affirmed that CPMIC will build a communication bridge between the government and enterprises,as well as among enterprises themselves.He recognized GEM’s technical leadership in sustainable resource management,affirming to  assist GEM in overcoming product and market bottlenecks,and advance industry-wide standardization initiatives. The dialogue established a framework for joint efforts in technology commercialization, market expansion, and systemic resource efficiency improvements across the sector.

 

 

 

In the same day, Zeng Lingling, Market Director of Nan Hua Futures Co., Ltd., and her colleagues visited the association to discuss the platinum and palladium markets, corporate risk management, and financial tools for the precious metals industry. Zeng stated that futures instruments help reduce price fluctuations and manage business risks.Nan Hua Futures will use its research capabilities and market experience to connect futures and spot markets.

Bian Jiang recognized Nan Hua Futures’ efforts,Noting that developing platinum and palladium futures markets is important for improving China’s precious metals financial systems and strengthening supply chain stability.
