The Recycled Resources Trade Fair and Precious Metals Development Forum Close successfully

On May 20, 2014, at 9:00 AM, the China Recycling Resources Industry Development Forum and Exhibition and Transaction Conference and the Sixth Member Representative Conference of the China Association of Materials Recycling were grandly held at the Beijing Conference Center. More than 1000 people and 8 branch organizations, including China Precious Metals Industry Committee (CPMIC), attended the conference.
On May 20, 2014, at 9:00 AM, the China Recycling Resources Industry Development Forum and Exhibition and Transaction Conference and the Sixth Member Representative Conference of the China Association of Materials Recycling were grandly held at the Beijing Conference Center. More than 1000 people and 8 branch organizations, including China Precious Metals Industry Committee (CPMIC), attended the conference.
The conference invited Mr. Zhao Jiarong, former vice secretary-general of the National Development and Reform Commission and current executive president of the China Circular Economy Association; Mr. Guo Qimin, director of the Department of Environmental Protection and Resources of the National Development and Reform Commission; Mr. Huang Jianzhong, vice director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Mr. Zhang Shudong and Ms. Yin Hong, vice directors of the Department of Circulation Industry Development of the Ministry of Commerce; Mr. Yu Ping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing; Mr. Wang Zhenwu, president of the China Waste Steel Association; Mr. Xie Dehua, president of the China Ship Recycling Association; Mr. Zhu Jun, president of the China Tire Retreading and Recycling Association; and Mr. Pan Yonggang, vice president of the China Association of Recycled Resources Recycling, and other relevant leaders to attend the meeting.
The leaders who attended the meeting also delivered important speeches. Energy conservation and emission reduction, environmental protection, and resource recycling are receiving increasing attention and emphasis from the Party, the state, and the people. The government and relevant industries have given positive feedback and recognition to the association's years of hard work, and they sincerely hope that our materials recycling industry will play a positive role, continue to promote resource conservation and recycling industry development, and contribute to the construction of China's ecological balance.
The Recycling Conference Metal and Precious Metals Development Forum was held at the Beijing Conference Center on May 21. Mr. Bian Jiang, secretary-general of CPMIC, presided over the meeting. Dr. Zhao Yonggang, representative of a vice-president unit of our association, BASF Metal (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., gave a presentation on "Environmental Protection Recycling of Three-Way Catalytic Converters." Dr. Zhao explained how to recycle three-way catalytic converters. The value of automotive three-way catalytic converters mainly lies in the platinum, palladium, and rhodium precious metals they contain. With the substantial growth of China's automobile industry, the recycling of waste three-way catalytic converters will flourish, and the market potential is huge. Mr. Chen Huan, representative of Shanghai Heraeus Industrial Technology Materials Co., Ltd., a vice-president unit of our association; Mr. Gong Hong, general manager, representative of Jiangsu Zhongming New Materials Co., Ltd., a vice-president unit; and Mr. Zhou Jifeng, vice general manager, representative of Greenmei High-Tech Co., Ltd., a vice-president unit, attended the meeting.
