In order to implement the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste" and the "Implementation Plan for Strengthening the Supervision and Utilization of Hazardous Waste Disposal Capacity Reform", our department issued the "Notice on Carrying Out Pilot Collection of Hazardous Waste from Small and Micro Enterprises" (Environmental Office Solid Letter [2022] No. 66) in February 2022, organizing and carrying out pilot collection of hazardous waste from small and micro enterprises nationwide, achieving significant results.

In order to consolidate and enhance the effectiveness of the pilot work, further improve the hazardous waste collection system for small and micro enterprises, and effectively solve the urgent and difficult problem of hazardous waste collection and treatment for small and micro enterprises, our department has organized the preparation of the "Notice on Continuing to Carry out the Pilot Work of Hazardous Waste Collection for Small and Micro Enterprises (Draft for Comments)", which is now open for comments (Draft for Comments and Preparation Instructions can be accessed on the website of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment) http://www.mee.gov.cn/ Search and consult the "Opinion Collection" column.
All government agencies, organizations, enterprises, institutions, and individuals are welcome to provide opinions and suggestions. Please provide written feedback on the opinions to the Solid Waste and Chemicals Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and indicate the contact person and contact information.
