On January 17, the BASF Heraeus Metal Resources Co., Ltd. Pinghu production base, which has attracted significant attention in the precious metal recycling field, was officially put into operation. BASF Heraeus Metal Resources Co., Ltd. is a newly established joint venture between BASF Environmental Catalysts and Metal Solutions and Heraeus Precious Metals, with a registered capital of 160 million yuan, with both parties holding 50% of the shares, located in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province.

The National Development and Reform Commission recently revised and released the new version of the "Guidance Catalog for Industrial Structure Adjustment (2024 Edition)", which will officially take effect on February 1, 2024. In order to fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development concept, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and better fulfill the important functions of tariffs in coordinating domestic and international markets and resources, the Tariff Commission of the State Council has issued a notice on the "Tariff Adjustment Plan for 2024" in accordance with the "Regulations on Import and Export Tariffs of the People's Republic of China" and relevant provisions. Starting from January 1, 2024, adjustments will be made to the import and export tariffs of certain goods.
